Business Development Manager



  • Identify new business leads and target markets through research and analysis.

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients.

  • Negotiate and close sales deals with new clients.

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to target new clients and markets in the digital marketing space.

  • Collaborate with different teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure the effective execution of business development initiatives


  • Experience working in Pune’s media houses is preferable.

  • Proven advertising and digital marketing agency experience in business development and sales, with a track record of successfully securing new business for advertising and digital marketing services. Alternatively, experience in space selling in Pune or the Rest of Maharashtra media industry.

  • Strong understanding of advertising, space marketing, and acquiring new business enquiries

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (English, Marathi and Hindi) with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

  • Awareness about Pune and Maharashtra market potential and contacts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and evaluate potential business opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Awareness about Pune and Maharashtra market potential and contacts

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related fields

  • Prior experience in cold calling

  • 2 years of experience in generating leads using Sales Navigator

  • Excellent email writing skills

  • Excellent knowledge of data extraction tools like Lusha, Apolo, and Snovia among others

  • Active social media presence

  • Minimum 5 years overall experience
