Business Development Manager
Pune
Responsibilities:

Identify new business leads and target markets through research and analysis.

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients.

Negotiate and close sales deals with new clients.

Develop and implement a strategic plan to target new clients and markets in the digital marketing space.

Collaborate with different teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure the effective execution of business development initiatives
Requirements:
-
Experience working in Pune’s media houses is preferable.
-
Proven advertising and digital marketing agency experience in business development and sales, with a track record of successfully securing new business for advertising and digital marketing services. Alternatively, experience in space selling in Pune or the Rest of Maharashtra media industry.

Strong understanding of advertising, space marketing, and acquiring new business enquiries

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (English, Marathi and Hindi) with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

Awareness about Pune and Maharashtra market potential and contacts
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and evaluate potential business opportunities.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related fields

Prior experience in cold calling
-
2 years of experience in generating leads using Sales Navigator

Excellent email writing skills
-
Excellent knowledge of data extraction tools like Lusha, Apolo, and Snovia among others
-
Active social media presence
-
Minimum 5 years overall experience
