World Brand Congress Recognizes Tempest Advertising for Most Effective Rural Advertising

World Brand Congress has awarded Tempest Advertising for Most Effective Use of Advertising in the Rural Market at the Rural Marketing Forum on 14 February 2012 at Mumbai.
The Rural Marketing Awards recognize excellence and promote best practices, innovation and creative marketing campaigns. They aim to reward individuals, organizations and agencies who develop campaigns that achieve a high level of satisfaction and penetration in rural India.
Tempest Advertising’s Hybrid Seed campaign for Pioneer Hi-Bred International. (PHI) has been recognized for its focus on catering to the specific needs of the farming community and effectively positioning the brand as a research-driven company that has the right product for the right acre.
The campaign crossed socio-economic barriers by utilizing visual displays based on the unique selling proposition of each hybrid seed. The campaign also reinforced the brand’s broader focus on improving the quantity, quality and sustainability of global food supply. With this campaign, Tempest Advertising successfully leveraged its unique understanding of the rural customer, agriculture and communication design. A wholly-owned subsidiary of DuPont, PHI is the second largest seed company in the world and is the leading producer of Maize Hybrid Seeds in India.
The Rural Marketing Awards add to Tempest Advertising’s award tally for 2011 having won multiple awards at ADEX 2011 in Hyderabad, including Best Digital Advertising and Best Recruitment Advertising.

Tempest Advertising Wins Big at ADEX 2010 for Internet Advertising and Recruitment Campaign

ADEX 2010, held at the Taj Deccan, Hyderabad on 29 July 2011, saw Tempest Advertising prove its creative supremacy by winning Best Internet Advertising and Best Recruitment Campaign.
Established in the year 1990, the ADEX award recognizes and rewards local agencies for their creative aptitude and noteworthy campaigns. More than 30 agencies participated in ADEX 2010.
The winners were adjudged based on various parameters, which varied according to the award group. Each group had three to four judges. R Neelamegham, ex-managing director, Akshara Advertising, Hemant Agarwal, managing director, Associated Advertising, director Satish Kasetty, and renowned artist Sachin Jaltare were some of the prominent names on the jury.
